The Oregon Garden Exhibit photographs collection consists of 10 color photographic prints and two hand-lettered signs created circa 1995 in conjunction with an exhibit featuring the gardens of Herbert Hoover's boyhood home in Newberg, Oregon. Hoover, the 31st president of the United States, lived in the house with his aunt, Laura Minthorn, and uncle, John Minthorn, from 1885 to 1889. The gardens that surround the home, designed by landscape architect Elizabeth Lord, are the primary subject of the photographs. The photographer is unidentified, and the collection is unprocessed.
